Weapon of Choice: Her body and tactical use of terrain

Appearance: One defining thing many people notice is the ever-present bandaid on her cheek. She had a bad biking accident as a child, which left her with a scar that she is self-conscious of, and so tries to hide it as much as possible. Her clothing style could be defined as "comfortable" and "pragmatic." She likes knee-length capri pants, especially cargo. If looking for trouble, she sports a pair of steel toed boots and likes to wear a biking jacket instead of her normal blue hoodie.

Personality: Generally a level headed girl, Petra takes a lot to get unnerved. She is a lover of mind games and puzzles, and is often the voice of reason and moderation with her peers. She tends to exude quiet confidence.
Although she can easily be mistaken for a tomboy at first sight, she is personable and better friends with the girls than the boys. She aspires to be a mender, not a destroyer. She practices her martial art as a spiritual experience, aside from the self defense aspects. Petra is immovably stubborn when she thinks she is right (and often even when she knows she is wrong). Her humor is quite sarcastic, though generally light-hearted in nature. She has a (perhaps), not-so-secret crush on Takoru.

Abilities:
Petra's ki is aligned with Earth.
Her's is a very defense oriented strategy. Earth is a stubborn element if one tries to push it, so Petra's strategy is to pull it. She uses her body as the focal point, so all of her attacks have her at the epicenter.
She is a budding martial artist as well, using a style of powerful kicks and sweeps paired with open palm strikes, reminiscent of Penjak Silat. She is an extremely proficient grappler and ground fighter, using her Earth Ki to her advantage in this environment to help trip up opponents and deliver crushing pins.

OC character for TakoruOne's OC contest. she was a fun character to design, and it was fun incorporating Silat into her. It's a very earthy martial art with some amazing stances.
